Buchanan & Peavey on Writing: all it takes is Grit, Imagination, Warmth, Humor, Professionalism & Determination! And lots of it….

Join Illustration Institute as we welcome crime writer Brenda Buchanan and memoirist Elizabeth Peavey to the Fifth Maine Regiment Museum for an intimate conversation about their work and the work of writing. Two thoughtful and sometimes irreverent writers who are friends & pros at their craft. Pull up a rocker at the 5th Maine & enjoy this lively discussion!

Brenda Buchanan is a Maine crime writer and former journalist who sets her novels in and around Portland, Maine. An attorney since 1990 and author of the Joe Gale Mystery series, Brenda is currently hard at work on a series about Neva Pierce, a criminal defense lawyer whose hands-on style lands her in deep trouble.
