Bryn Roberts is an educator with a distinguished career spanning forty years as a teacher and leader at universities and independent schools in Canada and the United States. Roberts was Head of School for 16 years at St Paul Academy and Summit School in St. Paul, Minnesota. The thriving K-12 day school of nearly 1,000 students on two campuses has a deserved reputation for its academic excellence and social/emotional programming.
His other recent board experiences include Boys and Girls Clubs of Tucson AZ, Independent Schools Association of the Central States, and the Accreditation and Review Committee (educational leaders that oversaw the accreditation of more than 200 independent schools in the midwest).
Bryn also served as the first Chairman of the Independent Metro Athletic Conference, and on the board of Washburn Center for Children, Minneapolis, MN.
Bryn believes “now is the time for the leaders of the Illustration Institute to focus on broad strategic issues and look ahead at future opportunities and needs.”
