There are many ways to draw a cat! All ages of kids are encouraged to come ready to pretend to be a scaredy-cat, and then scribble-draw the felines with tips from local illustrator Scott Nash. Scott will lead even the most reluctant drawer with tricks to overcome any inhibitions about drawing.

Understanding how to control the movement of your eye through a space can help in numerous ways to tell a story.  Learn techniques from award winning illustrator, LeUyen Pham on how to get your eye to go where you want it to go, and use design as much as drawing to work to your advantage.  Simple rules can make any level artist move to the next level.

This workshop will be a perfect followup to the previous week's workshop The Art of the Picture Book with Shadra Strickland.
